“Pleasant. Have been to the green this afternoon  Mother and Otis went to Bridgewater this evening  John passed the evening and night here  Oh the happy hours which we are permitted to enjoy they are appreciated in trust.” – Hattie E.F. D.

Otis is Hattie’s younger brother (James Otis).
