“Pleasant. Have remained at home during the day. Augusta passed the afternoon with us. Mrs H. Lincoln called  Mrs Alex Presbrey passed a part of the afternoon. saw John a short time Rain in the evening.” – Hattie E.F. D.

Notes: In place of advertisements from the Taunton Directory of 1850, which we’ve exhausted, I’m going to include photographic portraits from an album found with Hattie’s personal effects. There are no names nor dates noted on most of the photographs. Presumably they are family and friends of Hattie and her family. They will be posted in the order they appear in the album.
